Gary, I think it is great that you're writing about Mother Brook. I want to point out that the History of Dedham book you mention in this post by Erastus Worthington is available at the Main Library.
It is part of the Dedham Collection. If people want they can have a reference librarian get the book and they can peruse it or photocopy contents.
Unfortunately the first link you give to The Historical Sketch of Mother Brook isn't available in our library network. If you or your visitors know of someone who owns a copy in good condition and would like to donate it to the Library I am sure the Library will be excited to accept the donation and add it to the collection.

Available through some book sellers in the 2007 reprint, ISBN: 1432696572 (someday I'll get my Feedburner link right as well as the Amazon.com thing)
