Jealousy is a nasty thing. Not a minute after giving Mr. Denning his new coat, Mr. Nicholson made known his displeasure regarding the current state of his apparel and demanded that he, being a more wordly and famous figure than is and was Mr. Denning, should forthwith have made for him a bespoke pair of trousers suitable to his place in society.
I had to admit to Mr. Nicholson that his original set was somewhat tattered, battered and faded as the direct result of 162 years of use. Thus, with needle and thread in hand, an updated cover suitable for viewing and reading while at the same time trumpeting the presence of the publisher:
You'll notice the absence of the famous Nicholson Work Bench. Said bench has had more than enough press. Let's give a round of applause for yet another of Mr. Nicholson's contrivances that is deserving of our putting out two palms together.
Till next, Gary
PS: It will be a week or so before the new covers for Denning and Nicholson go live.
