At Lightning Source and waiting for the proof to arrive is the next book by William Fairham from The Woodworker Series: Wood Turning On The Foot Treadle Lathe.
If you go looking for this title in bookstores you won't find it under this wording. The original title was simply Wood-Turning.
From beginning to end, Fairham talks about the use of the foot treadle lathe. No electricity, no water or steam power, just foot power. Everything is in relation to the slower speeds, the vagaries of treadling, the use of the belt on and off during various operations and even why it is important to wear a twead cap during turning.
The Internet Archive free pdf is available for preview. The Toolemera edition is printed on white paper, trade paper bound as usual, 6x9, etc. Typical as you can see. Retail price will be $20.00 with the usual 30% discount to $14.00 if you buy from yours truly.
The other three Woodworker Series title are available of course, as they always will be.
Till next, Gary
