Early photographs of weavers and spinners are near impossible to find. Those that do turn up are often posed photos from mid century museums, aka: an interpretation of what someone thought the room should look like.
This small cabinet card is the real deal. An image of an elderly woman, in her multi-purpose spinning, sitting, dayroom with her Walking Wheel, or Great Wheel. The details in this room are incredible when you take the time to work your way around it. I'll leave that up to you. For now.
